Organizing Tip of the Month

Reduce kitchen clutter and be kind to the environment by using canvas shopping bags instead of the plastic grocery bags that tend to accumulate in kitchen corners, pantries, and landfills. Canvas shopping bags are sold at most grocery stores for about $1 - $3 per bag and are well worth the initial investment. An added bonus is that the sturdy bags make transporting groceries so much easier. Just be sure to be kind to yourself when you forget them at home or in the trunk (we all do). Eventually, using the canvas bags becomes habit. Until then, you can put a Post-It note on your shopping list to remind yourself to bring them into the store with you.
